Hello there. I have made a mental note to review this website for the SampleTank 4 version of Orchestra 360 but no date has been given as of yet. I know these things can take time to creat, test and upload. I was just wondering if their might be an update as of yet. I have the ST3 plug-ins installed but wondered what might be differences be between the two. I know ST4 has gone through some major updates.
Are you able to give an update on this or f they will be released as strings, brass, wind first.
thanking you in advanc.
kind regards
David
Dear David. First of all sorry for taking so long to respond and thank you very much for your interest in Orchestools Instruments and libraries. I'm happy to announce that an update of Orchestools One library for sampletank 4 is now available. It is the same library that is availalbe for sampletank3 and there are almost no differencies between the two. So, same sounds and presets but the preset access and lists have been updated because of the new and different library/preset structure that is introduced in Sampletank4.
I am planning though to start working on ORCHESTOOLS TWO a new soundset based on same library of samples plus some additions. This soundset will utilize the new tools and powers of sampletank 4 - first of all the presets of the new soundset will introduce looping, round robin, better sample zone management and better controls and more. The first beta release of the soundset is planned for March 2022. There is a lot of work to be done plus i will have to purchase Sampletank editor and get to learn and use all of its possibilities. in the mean time I'm continuously developing VST version that uses the same sample library - a series of instruments called ORCHESTOOLS SECTIONS. Orchestools Strings, Brass, Wind and Perc are rompler instruments that feature 4 layers each and a lot of tools that allow you to model and create a wide spectrum of sounds, textures and combinations. (you can check them on SECTIONS page of the website). Plugins are Windows 64bit VST3 Plugins. Regards,
Ilir
