Hello there. Sorry to bother you all with this question, I'm sure you field similar stuff often.
I'm looking to download the Orchestools Sections and some other items, yet they don't seem to function quite right. Upon extraction, they only have three files and no folders. Two of them are VST files and the other is a text file. There doesn't seem to be anywhere to put the sample libraries either.
Further more, my DAW (FL Studio) simply wont detect it, no matter what directory I put it in.
If anyone can help me with this, I would greatly appreciate it!
Hi there, sorry for taking so long to reply. Orchestools plugins are mostly romplers and require the download of plugin and samples separately. Your attached photo displays the contents of the archive of OT 306 but in your post you mention orchestools sections plugin. Nevertheless you need to download both the plugin and samples - by clicking on the respective icons you would be taken to download pages for each
after the download you need to extract both on a folder of your choice. You can check the readme file for installation instructions and a short pdf reference guide of the instrument. To install: 1) copy the ot strings x64.vst3 file to default VST3 folder (C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3).
2) Upon first load of the plugin you will be asked to install the samples from the downloaded archive (OT-STRINGS_1_0_2_Samples.hr1) follow instructions of the installer and select the folder where you want the plugin samples to be installed. 3) Close and reload the plugin to finish installation.
