ORCHESTOOLS noob questions

I am trying to install ORCHESTOOLS as standalone VST3 and my DAW FL studio does not detect it and using HISE it won't detect any input via MIDI/Keybaord and won't let me export because of a missing sample. I've been trying to install this for 4 hours and the installation readme file is not helping AT ALL and there's no yt videos on how to fix the broken vst3.

I'm not sure what is you're trying to do and what is your question!? There are no standalone versions of ORCHESTOOLS SECTIONS instruments - you can however compile standalone versions if you need to by using HISE and projects/resources on github.

All samples are there but you have to rebuild the *.ch1 files from within HISE.

You can easily install and use compiled vst3 plugins that are available for download on the site. You do not need source code or HISE if this is the case - those are necessary only if you like to build them by yourself. So, you only need to download vst3 plugin and samples archive.

As is instructed also in the readme installation text file, firstly:

- you need to put the *.vst3 file on the VST3 plugin folder of your system (the default path in windows is - /program files/common files/vst3)

- and then open the plugin in your prefered DAW. The first time the plugin starts you will be greeted like bellow:1

click on "Install Samples" - click ok on the next message and then locate the *.hr1 file witch you have downloaded from the site.

select the *hr1 file click on "Open". you will be asked to specify the location/folder where you want to install the #.ch1 sample library files that the plugin will use.

click "OK" and navigate to the folder where the samples will be installed. You can create a folder anywhere on your hard drive and choose it for samples installation. Click "OK".

This last step enables you to check one more time if folders are set correctly, if you need to - you can change them here as well.

Click OK and wait for the decompression of samples.

Restart the plugin. That's all!

The next generation/update will introduce a much more simpler and automated install procedure to make it more easy and require less input from the user. Any suggestion is more than welcome. let me know if this worked for you!
